Akebono Expands ProACT Disc Brake Pad Line 

Akebono's ultra-premium disc brake pad release includes coverage for more than 5M Honda, Ford, Lincoln and Toyota vehicles.

Akebono Brake Corporation announced the expansion of its ProACT Ultra-Premium Disc Brake Pad line by seven new part numbers: ACT2089, ACT2115, ACT2208, ACT2232, ACT2300, ACT2304 and ACT2305. Electronic wear sensor and premium stainless steel abutment hardware are included in the kits that require it, according to Akebono.

The recent release adds coverage for Honda: Odyssey and Accord; Ford: Ranger, Explorer, Police Interceptor Utility, Bronco Sport, Escape and Maverick; Lincoln Corsair; and Toyota: Highlander, Corolla, RAV4 Prime and Sienna.

“We are excited about this release of seven new ProACT part numbers that add late-model coverage for Honda, Ford, Lincoln and Toyota in which VIO (vehicles in operation) is above 5 million,” said Kirby Pruitt, product development manage. “All of these parts are in-stock and ready for shipment.”
