Alfa e-Parts Adds QR Code to its Packaging

Packaging update helps customers locate the part information they need quickly.

Alfa e-Parts, the newest brand from the European Division of BBB Industries (BBB), has added a QR code to its packaging to give customers quick access to the part information they need to order the right part the first time.

When scanned, the QR code on Alfa e-Parts packaging links to its online catalog where the customer can access information about each part number, its technical specifications, applications and OE codes. The same information also can be viewed by clicking each part number that appears in the pdf catalog on the Alfa e-Parts website.

“We are committed to providing our customers with easily accessible information. For workshops and spare parts dealers, it is important they know how to order the correct part and know which OE code corresponds to the aftermarket part they need,” said Cristina Fumero, BBB’s business development manager. “All Alfa e-Parts are supplied in a sealed, transparent bag and are non-returnable if the plastic bag is opened, which is why it’s important that our customers have the information they need to order the right part the first time. With one scan of the QR code on the Alfa e-Parts packaging, we are helping our customers avoid these mistakes.”
