ATMC Presents Top Training Awards to Allison Transmission, NAPA

ATMC Top Training Awards Given to Allison Transmission, NAPA

The awards shine a spotlight on innovative training programs and emphasize the importance of training.

The ASE Training Managers Council (ATMC) announced it honored both Allison Transmission and NAPA with its “Grand Award” for outstanding training programs. In addition, Automotive Video Innovations (AVI) received a National Excellence in Training award for its hybrid and EV technology programs.

The National Excellence in Training awards were presented at the ATMC reception held Nov. 2 during the Industry Week in Las Vegas. ATMC says the awards are bestowed annually to shine a spotlight on highly effective or innovative training programs, and emphasize the importance of training to the success of the transportation industry.

“It is a very unique situation to have a tie for the ATMC National Training in Excellence grand award, but both NAPA and Allison Transmission clearly deserve this top honor,” said Matt Shepanek, president of ATMC. “There was great participation in the award submissions this year and all of the organizations that submitted entries have effective training programs. However, Allison Transmission and NAPA stood out as the best of the best and we congratulate them on earning this prestigious honor.”
