Autolite Announces Sponsorship Of TechForce Mobile STEM Career Center

Autolite Sponsors TechForce Mobile STEM Career Center

The Mobile STEM Career Center is an extension of TechForce Foundation’s dedication to career exploration for tech students.

Autolite has announced that it will participate as the presenting sponsor for the TechForce Mobile STEM Career Center at the AAPEX 2022 trade show, November 1-3 in Las Vegas.

“TechForce Foundation is honored to welcome Autolite as a new partner. As a national nonprofit that champions technical careers so communities thrive, this support is critical to fulfilling our mission,” said Jennifer Maher, CEO, TechForce. “Autolite is helping introduce young people to rewarding technician careers as the presenting sponsor of our Mobile STEM Career Center at AAPEX 2022 in Las Vegas. This center features multiple hands-on STEM activities designed to spark an interest in careers as technicians.”

The Mobile STEM Career Center is an extension of TechForce Foundation’s dedication to career exploration for tech students. In 2021, more than 300,000 students engaged with TechForce career exploration content.

Along with hands-on activities, AAPEX attendees who stop by the career center will be able to participate in a walking tour of the show floor featuring a stop at the Autolite booth.

“The automotive service industry will always need well-trained technicians, and we are proud to do our part in promoting this career path,” said Carl Weber, senior marketing director, First Brands Group. “TechForce is one of the best support systems for tech students. The Mobile STEM Career Center is one more way for the foundation to bring its expertise directly to aspiring techs.”

On top of education and career resources, TechForce also supports students by offering more than $1.5 million in scholarships and grants each year. Recipients of these scholarships and grants have an 88.7% retention rate, significantly higher than the national average of 66.2%, a figure reported by the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
