Continental Names Head of US Market Replacement Truck Tire

Shaun Uys brings more than 22 years of experience in the tire sector.

Continental recently announced a promotion for its Truck Tires business in the Americas region, which is comprised of medium/heavy commercial tires.

Renato Sarzano, head of Truck Tire the Americas, recently announced that Shaun Uys was promoted to head of U.S. Market Replacement Truck Tire including responsibility for Truck Tire U.S. Key Accounts Management (KAM) Fleets.

Uys has more than 22 years of experience in the tire sector, having joined Continental in 2000. He has held many positions in the tire sector internationally including South Africa, Germany and U.S. and most recently served as vice-president of Truck Tire OE Americas and Strategic Key Fleet Accounts. He brings a wealth of expertise in truck tire business, including several years within tire manufacturing. 

“It’s a huge honor to be appointed head of the U.S. Truck Tire Replacement business,” said Uys. “I’m eager to focus our attention on providing value and opportunities to grow our fleet and dealers business. I look forward to meeting our valued customers and working closely with the team.”
