AWE Exhaust Selected for the SEMA’s All-Female Bronco Build

AWE Exhaust Selected for the SEMA’s All-Female Bronco Build

The completed vehicle build will be displayed at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

AWE, the precision engineering and manufacturing firm outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been selected from all exhaust manufacturers to represent the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) All-Female Ford Bronco build.

“With all of the exhaust brands out there, it’s an honor to have been selected by SBN. I’m incredibly proud of our team for engineering such a unique approach to the Bronco exhaust, and it was such a blast to work with SBN,” said AWE VP of Marketing, Jesse Kramer.

AWE’s Sara Riordan, the in-house performance specialist best known for her AWE Product Rundowns and other online AWE exploits, volunteered to take the lead on the exhaust portion of the build, and was on-site installing, moderating and educating the next generation of female enthusiasts at SEMA Garage.

“The fact that I was able to interact with our meticulously engineered exhaust and show it off to a group of up-and-comers to show them ‘how it’s done’ was an absolute blast. The team at SBN is top-notch, and I can’t wait to see how this thing comes together for SEMA 2022,” said Riordan.

According to the SEMA website, SBN will modify “a Ford Bronco 4-door Wildtrak provided by Bronco Brand – Ford’s outdoor brand of Built Wild and only-4×4 vehicles. The project comes 10 years after SBN led an award-winning all-female Ford Mustang Build, which raised awareness for women working in the automotive industry and brought in dozens of new SBN members. The new campaign seeks to highlight successful women in the automotive industry while also attracting and supporting more females to pursue careers in the field. Women will modify all aspects of the car, including the engine, chassis, drivetrain, interior, sound system, exterior, and paint. Organizers are currently securing members to assist with assembling a Volunteer Recruitment Team, Events Team, Media/Content Team, Secure Parts & Sponsorship, and other committees.”

“We have over 250 women that have volunteered to be a part of this build, representing all industry segments and career levels, proving that there is a place for women in the automotive industry. And it’s incredible to see the support from our partners to make something like this a reality, the team is very excited to debut this build at the SEMA Show,” said Lisa Cabalquinto, SBN media manager.

The completed vehicle build will be displayed at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
