AAPEX 2022: Free Online Training in September

Sept. 7 will be "Navigating the Rapids Ahead" and "Underhood: Stop/Start System Diagnostics" will take place on Sept. 19.

The AAPEX Repair Shop HQ Online Training Series finishes up in September with two free sessions: “Navigating the Rapids Ahead” on Wednesday, Sept. 7, and “Underhood: Stop/Start System Diagnostics,” on Monday, Sept. 19. The 45-minute sessions begin at 2 p.m. EDT.

The series will lead up to AAPEX 2022 being held Tuesday, Nov. 1 through Thursday, Nov. 3, at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

In “Navigating the Rapids Ahead,” AAPEX says attendees will learn how to be prepared to weather any storms on the horizon, even though the typical repair shop today is busier than ever. It will address what happens when the going gets rough and include real stories from shops who will share “just in case” safety briefings.

The training session, “Underhood: Stop/Start System Diagnostics,” will cover how to cure issues with stop/start systems, including stop/start system deactivation, replacement batteries, HVAC complaints, transmission harsh shifts, and brake pedal issues, AAPEX adds.

To register, visit AAPEX.com/webinar. All sessions are recorded and available to anyone who registers, including those unable to attend.

As a thank you for attending, 50 randomly-selected attendees will receive a $10 Amazon gift card (see full sweepstakes rules).

AAPEX introduced the eight-part Repair Shop HQ Online Training Series in April to provide important technical training and management content for shop owners and shop leaders. The sessions are produced by Shop Owner and Tire Review.

AAPEX officially introduced Repair Shop HQ in 2021 as a dedicated area on the show floor to meet the needs of service and repair professionals. The area, located on Level 1 of The Venetian Expo, features Joe’s Garage – a built-out shop with 10 fully-equipped bays for product and equipment demonstrations – and four training theaters for technical and business management sessions. It also will include the new Transmission Supplier Section, as well as dedicated sections for Diagnostics/Telematics, Alternative Fuel, Tire Servicing and Tool & Equipment.
