Allison Transmission Receives ASE Training Excellence Award

This is the second consecutive year that Allison’s Train-the-Trainer program has been recognized.

Allison Transmission was honored with a 2021 National Excellence in Training Award for its training program by the ASE Training Managers Council.

Allison was recognized for its Train-the-Trainer program, which ensures that its authorized distributor trainers can deliver a high-quality training experience via an innovative, immersive learning environment. The benefits of Allison’s Train-the-Trainer program are realized throughout the Allison service network, producing Allison Accredited trainers capable of managing the entire training process, from planning through delivery and administrative follow-up, says the company.

“With a global service network of more than 1,400 Allison Authorized Dealers and Distributors, Allison understands that training is key to properly maintaining such a robust and geographically expansive group of highly-skilled technicians,” said Todd Dawn, manager of global product training and technical publications at Allison Transmission. “The Train-the-Trainer program allows Allison to efficiently share the subject matter expertise to truly leverage our incredible service network.”

The annual Excellence in Training Awards recognize outstanding, innovative training programs designed for the automotive and truck industries. The awards are open to entities that provide training in the industry and recognize how important training and continued professional development is to the success of the industry.
