VIP Tires & Service Opens 3rd Vermont Location In Burlington

The company is expanding across the state to provide high-quality auto service needs.

VIP Tires & Service announced the official opening of its third Vermont store in Burlington, making it the 64th store in New England. The new store is located at 140 Riverside Avenue and officially opened to the public on June 23rd.

The company is celebrating with a few special discounts for new customers and charitable giving opportunities that will support the local community: Between June 28 and July 11, customers can buy three tires and get the fourth free, for all tire brands and all tire sizes.

Between June 28 and August 7, VIP will host the Oil Changes for Education program where every oil change costs just $10 and 100% of the proceeds go to local Burlington schools.

“After a long year and half, we’re excited to celebrate the opening of our third Vermont location with an in-person ribbon cutting ceremony–we encourage anyone in Burlington interested in learning more about VIP to come on down and see why we’re different,” said Tim Winkeler, president and CEO of VIP Tires & Service. “We want to provide the best possible experience for Vermonters seeking a reliable automotive professional to work on their car. VIP’s skilled technicians and customer service professionals will make your car care experience transparent, easy-to-understand, and helpful. This coming Fall, we will also be opening a brand-new, ground-up store in Shelburne store. Between these two stores and our Williston location, we’re excited to expand VIP offerings for people in the Greater Burlington area!”

VIP Renovates Existing Burlington Collision Center
With the goal of investing in a space that already existed, John Quirk, executive chairman of VIP Tires & Service, purchased the old All Star Collision Center facility in March 2020. Today, the finished 8,670 square-foot fully renovated space features eight service bays, onsite tire storage space for 2,000 tires, and a HUNTER Engineering drive-thru alignment quick check system. VIP focuses on reducing wait times, providing accessibility to a broad array of tire manufacturers and price points, and holding large tire inventories onsite so customers can expect immediate tire installation after choosing their desired brand.

The Burlington Team

All VIP Tires & Service locations offer a tire shop and full-service automotive repair, with everything from brake repair, to preventative maintenance, muffler and exhaust repair, multi-point vehicle inspections, wheel alignments, state inspections, and oil changes. In addition to providing superior automotive and tire services, VIP is very customer focused and wants to ensure an exceptional in-store experience. The open concept customer waiting area features a laptop bar with multiple seats and individual plug-ins, a coffee and tea bar, renovated restrooms, and a TV sitting area, making it easy for individuals to stay connected to work and family while they wait for their vehicle. Additionally, the waiting area holds dozens of tires on display so customers can see and touch different models before making their purchase decision.

Bryce Campbell, a VIP manager in training at the Williston store for the past year, will lead the VIP team as manager for the Burlington store and will be oversee all operations at the location. When VIP’s Burlington location is fully staffed, customers will be greeted by a nine-person team including Campbell, an Assistant Manager, one Service Advisor, one ASE Master Technician, two ASE Technicians, and three Installation Technicians.
