Noregon Releases JPRO Professional 2021 v1

The focus of this update is to ensure technicians have all the tools necessary to maintain and repair the modern truck.

Noregon has announced the release of its first major update of 2021 for its flagship product, JPRO Professional. JPRO is an in-shop diagnostic and repair tool that allows fleets and repair facilities to triage, diagnose and repair all makes and models within a single application.

The focus of this update is to ensure technicians have all the tools necessary to maintain and repair the modern truck. Noregon enhanced coverage and introduced bi-directional tests for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and added parameter adjustment capabilities for TPMS components.

Additionally, Noregon rolled out upgrades to help repair facilities take on additional repair jobs. “Service centers see a wide range of truck models and equipment roll into their shop. It’s important that they not turn down work due to lack of equipment,” said Jason Hedman, Noregon product manager. “JPRO users can now read proprietary fault codes and data for off-highway CAT engines, meaning they can diagnose equipment like bulldozers, pavers, backhoes, and more.”

For on-highway trucks, the update includes additional parameter adjustments and increased bi-directional tests for nearly every major manufacturer. As part of the company’s collaboration agreement with Bendix, JPRO continues to offer OE-level functionality and JPRO Professional 2021 v1 includes coverage and tests for the latest braking systems on tractors and trailers, as well as Bendix ADAS components.

“JPRO is known for offering user-friendly features that get entry-level technicians up to speed, while providing the advanced features and functionality that top technicians need in order to work efficiently,” said Hedman. “This release mirrors that philosophy as we’ve added more user-friendly descriptions in fault and data displays, while adding a long list of tests and features that facilitate repairs on the latest truck models and technology.”

JPRO updates are offered at no additional cost for active JPRO Professional subscribers. Users with an active internet connection will receive a prompt in the software when new updates are available, or they are encouraged to visit the Noregon website or contact their U.S.-based product specialists at (855) 889-5776 for help with updating or purchasing the right solution.
