Jeff Guenther Joins Elring Americas Sales Team

Guenther comes to Elring from Hastings Piston Rings with 36 years of automotive aftermarket experience.

Elring-Das Original, the aftermarket brand of ElringKlinger AG, has announced that Jeff Guenther is joining the Americas Sales Team focusing on the expansion of key aftermarket heavy-duty distribution partners. He will be based in Plymouth, Michigan.

“This is a continuation of our project to become a leading supplier for the gasket category in the United States and all of the Americas. We are thrilled to have an industry veteran in Jeff Guenther join our team,” says Jens Gräßler, director IAM Sales North & Latin America.

Guenther comes to Elring from Hastings Piston Rings with 36 years of trust, customer service and automotive aftermarket experience.

“I did my research and was impressed at the level of quality and service from Elring Gaskets. They truly get what it takes to be a global leader in sealing science. I am looking forward to building long-term partnerships between Elring Gaskets and the best-in-class heavy-duty distribution,” said Guenther, sales manager Heavy Duty. “The on- and off-highway HD vehicle is an asset on a balance sheet, they are very well maintained and rebuilt when required. Driving this business through our distribution channels will be the challenge. There is a substantial opportunity that we can grow together with our key distribution customers.”

“Elring is committed to the US/CN market and continues to expand its Fremont, California, based distribution operations. Service and order fill are paramount to Elring, with plans to double its logistic capacity to support the growth of our customers,” added Harald Reinhardt, Euro sales manager and Aftermarket Distribution manager, Fremont, California.

“The development of our capacity and ability to scale up, has been in full swing as the market responds to Elring as a premium gasket supplier. We will continue to offer our customers in the U.S. and Canada a unique combination of first-class OEM products combined with first-class service,” said William Atkinson, U.S.-based national sales manager. “Our growth has been strong with our focus on customer service, EDI and improved logistics. We are planning to announce our second U.S. distribution center location very soon.”
