N.A. Williams’ Alex Goodemoot Named A World Class Technician

Goodemoot was one of only 42 individuals to earn “World Class Technician” recognition for 2021.

Alex Goodemoot, regional manager for N.A. Williams, has been selected as a “World Class Technician.” This prestigious honor was bestowed upon Goodemoot by the Auto Care Association and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

“We want to congratulate Alex on this incredible honor,” said Chris Williams, president of N.A. Williams. “This is a remarkable achievement and it shows how dedicated Alex is to being the best of the best. Alex’s background as a technician has really resonated with our customers and his dedication to continuing to learn and grow is a great asset to everyone at N.A. Williams.”

The Auto Care Association and ASE work together to recognize professional technicians who have tested and obtained ASE certification in 22 specialty areas to earn “World Class Technician” status. There are an estimated 879,000 technicians in the United States and approximately 250,000 of those techs are ASE certified. Goodemoot was one of only 42 individuals to earn “World Class Technician” recognition for 2021.

Goodemoot grew up in the industry, spending most of his childhood in his family’s Carquest store. Throughout his 20s, he worked in multiple repair facilities as both a technician and manager, sharpening his skills as a technician. He has worked at every level from the jobber store, warehouse, installer and manufacturer. 

He holds ASE Master Certifications as an automobile technician, medium/heavy duty technician, collision technician and under car specialist, along with advanced level L1 and L2 certifications.
