Original One Parts Adds John Lindle To Board Of Directors

Lindle is currently executive chairman of Kinderhook portfolio company asTech.

Original One Parts, a portfolio company of private equity firm Kinderhook Industries LLC, has announced the appointment of John Lindle to its board of directors.

Lindle grew up working in a body shop and later worked as a general manager of a large direct repair shop for major auto insurers. Lindle left the collision repair industry in 1995 to start his own business rebuilding and brokering total loss vehicles, where he first identified the opportunity to provide insurance companies with a better solution for remarketing salvage vehicles.

In 1999, Lindle founded QCSA Auto Auctions and grew the business, with limited access to financing, to a multi-state corporation with more than 100 employees. In 2009, he partnered with Kinderhook to recapitalize the business and execute an aggressive organic and acquisition strategy whereby revenue grew from $20 million to $70 million in four years and was sold to Copart in 2013. Lindle is currently executive chairman of Kinderhook portfolio company asTech.

“We are very pleased to welcome John Lindle to the Original One Parts board of directors, and believe that his deep knowledge of the collision and vehicle salvage industries and network of insurance relationships will prove extremely valuable as we continue to grow the business,” said Jerry Sullivan, executive chairman of Original One Parts.

“Adding John Lindle to the board is the first step toward building a highly dynamic board of directors that will provide extensive experience to all facets of Original One Parts’ operations,” added Paul Cifelli, managing director at Kinderhook. “We look forward to John contributing his breadth of experience to unlock new opportunities for Original One Parts.”
