Chevin Drives Global Growth With Two New Board Member Appointments

Will Wycks and Ray Creamer will join Ashley Sowerby, David Gladding and Julian Smith to form Chevin's board of directors.

Chevin Fleet Solutions, a global provider of fleet management software, have announced that Will Wycks, former head of Transformation, Data & Customer Excellence at BT Fleet Solutions, and Ray Creamer, Jaguar Land Rover’s previous International IT Demand & Operations manager, have joined its board of directors.

Wycks joins the company as global marketing director, while Creamer will take on the role of global delivery director.

Speaking on the new senior appointments, Ashley Sowerby, Chevin’s CEO and founder, said,

“Both Will and Ray bring with them skill sets that will add tremendous business value. With over 24-years combined experience in their respective business areas, they have a high level of credibility and we are very excited to welcome two industry leaders to the board.”

Having worked in the automotive industry for more than a decade, Wycks will take a leading role in the creation and execution of Chevin’s new corporate strategy, working across all areas of the business to revolutionize product development, drive digital innovation and enhance customer experience.

Now established as a strategic leader within the fleet sector, he will champion strategic business transformation, building on previous experience at BT Fleet Solutions and Vehicle Lease & Service Ltd.

On joining the team, Wycks said, “It’s a hugely exciting time for Chevin as it continues a significant period of global growth and I am delighted to join the team. FleetWave is a very impressive product and I look forward to helping shape the strategy for the next chapter of growth for the company.”

Taking an operational lead, Creamer will be responsible for the delivery of Chevin’s FleetWave software on a global scale, implementing internal processes and communicating core values across a growing international workforce.

Working closely alongside Chevin’s board of directors, Creamer will use his IT background and strong business knowledge to drive product competitiveness and promote new solutions, processes and application standards. Bringing with him a wealth of experience from Automotive, FMCG and IT segments, he will redefine the development and deployment of Chevin’s product offering.

“With industry-leading solutions and a highly dedicated and motivated team, I am really excited to be joining Chevin,” Creamer said. “In a constantly changing and turbulent world, my goal is to ensure Chevin remains at the forefront in anticipating customer needs and delivering innovative, effective & stable solutions.”

The company says both Wycks and Creamer will play a key role in enhancing Chevin’s presence in the market, tapping into new industry sectors to accelerate global growth, develop a culture of service excellence and cement the company’s position as the leading global provider of fleet management software worldwide.
