Following Acquisition, Super-Lube Announces New Military Discount

The quick lube chain, now part of the Take 5 Oil Change family, will offer 25 percent off oil changes to veterans and members of the military.

Super-Lube, a chain of quick lube and automotive service centers, has announced a special discount program for veterans and active military service members. This announcement follows the recent acquisition of Super-Lube by Take 5 Oil Change, a growing quick lube chain in the United States with more than 350 locations nationwide.

Starting this month, all active duty military service members and veterans will receive 25 percent off oil changes at Super-Lube. All 50 Super-Lube and Auto Super Service Center stores, located across Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois and Alabama, will be offering the discount all day, every day. To receive the discount, customers must simply present an accepted form of military ID.

“Honoring those who serve and their families has always been a core value of Take 5 Oil Change,” said John Teddy, vice president of Strategy at Take 5. “We live these values not only by providing this unique discount to military customers, but by employing a number of military men and women, and by corporately partnering with military organizations for charitable giving. We are incredibly excited to introduce this change to our new Super-Lube customers.”

In February, Super-Lube was acquired by Take 5 Oil Change as the company continues to grow aggressively. Together, the companies say they are focused on providing customers with a fast, friendly and simplified oil change experience. “This is just one of many customer-friendly changes that our Super-Lube customers can expect as we continue to integrate our businesses together,” said Teddy. “The Super-Lube brand is widely recognized in Tallahassee as the top oil change brand in the market and we plan to continue to invest back into this local economy, these stores, our employees and most importantly our customers.”

Take 5 Oil Change is a portfolio company of Driven Brands, the nation’s leading automotive franchisor.
