Magna Tyres Group has named Stephan van Leeuwen to be the new sales manager for the U.K., Ireland and Italy regions. Van Leeuwen has more than 25 years of experience as a sales manager in the tire industry and has worked for various well-known tire companies.

“We are proud to have Stephan join our team,” said Hein de Wind, sales director of Magna Tyres. “With his profound understanding of the tire business, we expect him to be a valuable addition to both our team and customers. As the global presence of Magna Tyres continues to grow, Stephan will play an important role in the further expansion of the company.”

Starting January 2016, van Leeuwen will be part of the global Magna Tyres sales team to offer sales support to all dealers of Magna Tyres in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy. He also will further promote the new brand “MTP” in the OTR tire market, to expand the brand recognition among tyre dealers and customers. Van Leeuwen will travel on a continuous basis to visit customers of Magna and MTP Tyres and provide overall sales and marketing support to tire dealers.
