Johnson Controls Names President For Asia Pacific Business

In this leadership role, Trent Nevill is responsible for driving enterprise leadership, strategy, fast-paced growth and functional management for all of Johnson Controls' businesses across the Asia Pacific region.

Johnson Controls has announced Trent Nevill has been appointed a vice president of the company, as well as president, Asia Pacific, making him a corporate officer effective immediately. In this critical leadership role, Nevill is responsible for driving enterprise leadership, strategy, fast-paced growth and functional management for all of Johnson Controls’ businesses across the Asia Pacific region. He will be based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Shanghai. He will serve as Johnson Controls’ most senior leader in the region, working with governments and industry to ensure Johnson Controls’ presence and commitment are well-understood and embraced in the marketplace, the company stated.

Nevill initially joined Johnson Controls in 1995 as an account executive with the company’s Building Efficiency branch office in San Antonio. Over the past 20 years, he has steadily advanced through numerous sales, operations and general management roles. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager, systems and services, North America, since 2014.

Nevill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University.
