Wheaton is director of Western New York Labor and Environmental Programs for Cornell University ILR School. Art is an auto industry expert specializing in labor relations and joint labor management programs. Art has been an auto expert for the European Foundation for Better Living and Working Conditions (EuroFound), International Labor Organization (ILO), General Motors Europe and IG Metall. Prior to joining Cornell University ILR School, Wheaton was project manager for the Labor Aerospace Research Agenda at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a faculty member of Michigan State University School of Labor and Industrial Relations. He earned his B.S. in social science pre-law and Masters of Labor Relations/Human Resources at Michigan State University.
