Jill Trotta Promoted To RepairPal’s Executive Team As Head of Industry Advocacy And Sales

The automotive technology company now features an executive team represented by three women, as Trotta joins Jennifer Steeves-Kiss, chief product and marketing officer, and Kathleen Long, vice president and general manager.

RepairPal.com, a website for automotive service and repair, has announced the promotion of Jill Trotta to senior director of sales and industry advocacy. The automotive technology company now features an executive team represented by three women, as Trotta joins Jennifer Steeves-Kiss, chief product and marketing officer, and Kathleen Long, vice president and general manager of RepairPal’s Shop Network, out of six total members.

Trotta is an ASE Certified Technician with more than 25 years of experience in the automotive field. She started out as a technician in the early 1990s and has worked her way through many areas of the industry, including as a service adviser, service manager, parts director and shop owner. In 2017, Trotta was awarded the Auto Care 2017 Woman of Excellence Award by the Women in Auto Care Association.

For the past five years, Trotta has been a critical member of RepairPal’s Automotive Group. She was responsible for the team that evaluated thousands of independent repair shops in search of the most technically qualified and customer-focused automotive repair shops in the country for the RepairPal Certified Network. In addition, Trotta has advised many shops on how to improve their business practices so they could later achieve RepairPal Certification.

“The tide is starting to turn – women are gaining ground and being put into leadership positions. We are more visible and active than ever – poised to lead the industry into the future,” said Trotta.
