Fontaine Fifth Wheel Names New President

The company also has named three new vice presidents for sales and marketing, regional sales and aftermarket sales.

Fontaine Fifth Wheel has announced its new president and three new vice presidents: Buck Buchanan is now president; Mike Randolph is vice president, sales and marketing, North America; Aaron Puckett is vice president, regional sales; and Paige Petroni is vice president, aftermarket sales.

Buchanan has served as president of sister company Fontaine Intermodal for the past five years. He joined Fontaine Trailer in 2004 where he served as vice president of sales and marketing. He also previously served as vice president of Fontaine Military Products. Buchanan previously spent five years at Heil Environmental as director of key accounts, and 10 years at Thermatrix Inc. serving in European and North American sales management roles. Buchanan also spent eight years in the U.S. Air Force as a logistics officer, reaching the rank of Captain prior to starting his civilian career. As president of Fontaine Fifth Wheel, he focuses on setting strategy, gaining market share and leveraging technology to improve margins. Buchanan holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University and a masters of business administration from Troy University.

Randolph has more than 25 years of diversified experience within the heavy-duty trucking industry, including national account fleet sales, sales management and marketing and promotional events. He spent six years working for Volvo Trucks North America, 19 years with Daimler Trucks North America/Freightliner and six years with the Freightliner dealer organization. In his new position, Randolph is responsible for North American sales and marketing in three sales channels: OEM, aftermarket and dealer/OEM fleet sales and customer service. Randolph is a graduate of North Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management.

Puckett has worked for Fontaine for more than 25 years and has served Fontaine Fifth Wheel in many roles, including OEM sales manager, director of customer support and director of national fleet sales. As vice president of regional sales, Puckett will lead a team focused on growing fleet and dealer business in the United States and Mexico. He has a bachelor’s degree in operations management from the University of Alabama Birmingham and has been an active member for the past 20 years with the Truck Maintenance Council (TMC).

Petroni has worked for Fontaine for nine years, first as controller of Fontaine Parts Connection, then as vice president of finance for Fontaine Fifth Wheel since 2011. She previously served as chief financial officer at Sterling Capital Management. In her new position, she is responsible for the commercial strategy and path to market for all aftermarket sales and customer service. Petroni is active in the TMC and Women in Trucking organizations. She has an accounting degree from Samford University and has been a certified public accountant since 1997.
