BOLT Locks’ Erika Garcia Appointed As SEMA LTAA Chair-Elect

The council, comprised of manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers of accessories for light-duty pickup trucks, vans and SUVs, is dedicated to maintaining the quality and service of the light-truck accessory industry.

Erika Garcia, national sales manager of STRATTEC‘s BOLT Lock product line, has been named chair-elect of the Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) Council of SEMA.

“I am honored to have been selected as a volunteer-leader in the industry that I love. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the LTAA Council and its member companies,” said Garcia.

The council, comprised of manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers of accessories for light-duty pickup trucks, vans and SUVs, is dedicated to maintaining the quality and service of the light-truck accessory industry. The council seeks to address challenges facing the industry head on and develop initiatives to help resolve member issues.

Garcia has been employed in the automotive industry for 17 years, 10 of which have been spent specifically in the aftermarket industry. She spent seven years working in STRATTEC’s OEM division. Since 2014, Garcia has volunteered her time with SEMA’s LTAA as the chair of the select committee’s communications task force.

STRATTEC, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of automotive locks and keys, debuted the BOLT Lock product line at the SEMA Show in 2009. Garcia said the support of the industry that led to BOLT’s success is the reason she has volunteered as chair-elect for the LTAA Council. She wants to give back to the industry.

In 2014, Garcia was awarded the Sales Team Annual Recognition (STAR) Award by the SEMA Manufacturers Representative Network (MRN) at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The STAR Award is presented to the most outstanding manufacturer’s sales team. The recipient is chosen from nominations made by the general members of the MRN Council.
