HDA Truck Pride Adds Tri-States Automotive To Its Membership

Tri-States Automotive Warehouse also is a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance under the Auto Value brand.

HDA Truck Pride has added a newest member, Tri-States Automotive Warehouse, headquartered in Marianna, Florida. The company also is a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance under the Auto Value brand. It  operates 18 additional locations serving Northwest Florida, Southern Alabama and Southern Georgia. The company’s management team includes: Bill Stevens – president; Kelly Connolly – vice president of finance; Sean Connolly – vice president of operations; and Kim DeSelix – vice president of company stores.

Founded in 1946 as Marianna Auto Parts and Supply, the company grew into four locations by the 1960s. In the 1970s, the company expanded into warehouse operations and formed Tri-States Automotive Warehouse. Today, the company is a third-generation, family owned and operated business with two warehouses and 17 company stores. In addition to the company stores, the business supports 60 full-line Auto Value independent jobbers and 20 line-buying jobbers out of a state-of-the-art, 100,000-square-foot facility in Marianna, Florida, and a 22,000-square-foot facility in Tallahassee, Florida.

“We’re pleased to welcome the Tri-States Automotive operation into our membership,” said Tom Tecklenberg, chief commercial officer. “By joining the HDA Truck Pride ranks, they will have access to our national brands, training and telematics, along with regional and national fleet programs. Most importantly, they will be able to support customers in both the automotive and commercial vehicle markets with unparalleled aftermarket presence – a major objective of the recent formation of the Aftermarket Distributors Alliance (ADA) in conjunction with the AAPA.”
