Roy’s Autoworks Named Federated Shop Of The Year

Each year, the Federated Shop of the Year program recognizes a top shop whose owners have a demonstrated track record of excellence in such areas as customer service, quality repairs, knowledgeable staff and community involvement.

Roy’s Autoworks in Howell, Michigan, has been selected as the Federated Shop of the Year. Nominated for this honor by Federated member Motown Automotive, Roy’s Autoworks is owned by ASE Master Technician Roy Caverly.

“Congratulations to the team at Roy’s Autoworks for being named Federated Shop of the Year,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president of Federated Auto Parts. “We are always impressed with the nominations we receive for extremely qualified shops. This year, Roy’s Autoworks was a stand out. The entire staff is committed to serving their customers and the community, and the professional technicians are continually improving their areas of expertise through in-depth training. This dedication to quality has made Roy’s one of the most respected shops in Michigan.”

Caverly, a member of the Federated Car Care advisory board, has owned Roy’s Autoworks for eight years. Among the company’s 14 employees are five ASE Master Ttechs and two ASE-certified technicians. Of the three full-time service advisers, two also hold ASE certifications. In addition, Roy’s also has two L1 advanced engine performance specialists. Roy’s Autoworks has earned the respected ASE Blue Seal of Excellence and has been recognized as the best complete auto repair facility in Livingston County for the past three years. Active in the community, the shop supports many local charities and sponsors several youth sports teams and events in the area.

“I want to thank Federated for choosing us as its shop of the year,” said Caverly. “This is a great honor that I share with our entire staff. Everyone at Roy’s Autoworks always strives to be the best. Our technicians and service advisers go to training courses offered by various vehicle manufacturers and vendors to keep up-to-date with today’s changing technology. We also purchase the newest equipment and tools and keep a clean and approachable working environment. At Roy’s, we love to give back to our community by sponsoring as many events and charities as we can.”
