Anthony Rodio Named President And CEO Of National Mobile Car Repair Startup YourMechanic

Rodio will oversee the YourMechanic team in Mountain View, California, and its expanding nationwide network of mobile mechanics to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and drive growth in new markets.

Rodio will oversee the YourMechanic team in Mountain View, California, and its expanding nationwide network of mobile mechanics to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and drive growth in new markets.

YourMechanic was founded in 2012 and offers more than 600 repair, maintenance and diagnostic services by appointment seven days a week. The company’s mobile mechanics are active in more than 2,900 cities across the U.S., including the 50 largest metropolitan areas.

Rodio brings decades of consumer e-commerce expertise to YourMechanic, with vast executive-level experience in launching and scaling new businesses across all operating functions. Prior to joining YourMechanic, he served as CEO of Redbeacon. Under his leadership, The Home Depot acquired Redbeacon in 2012. He also served as vice president of Silicon Valley Operations at The Home Depot.

He has held leadership roles with top consumer brands, including executive vice president and chief operating officer of Support.com, vice president of product management at Sidestep Inc. (acquired by Kayak), vice president of marketing at Stubhub.com (acquired by eBay) and senior director of MSN Brand and Communications at Microsoft. He also served as general manager of Amazon.com zShops, brand manager of Procter and Gamble and as account executive of acquisitions at Bank of America.

Rodio currently serves as an adviser and investor for Tripping.com, and as an adviser for both Finrise and GetMyBoat.  

He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University, a Master of Science degree from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon. He is an Ironman athlete, endurance cyclist, marathon runner and active in his community as a Little League and National Junior Basketball board member.
