KYB - LogoKYB Americas Corp. recently announced the hiring of a key sales position and promotion of a valued team member. The announcement was made by Mike Fiorito from KYB’s Aftermarket headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana.

Pascal Hounguevou was recently promoted to a key position within the Procurement Department. Hounguevou will oversee several inventory and ordering management activities for both of KYB’s North American distribution centers. After spending 10 years in the Indiana National Guard, Hounguevou joined KYB in 2012 in the packaging department. He was then promoted to an inside sales support specialist role within KYB’s customer support team. In that role, Hounguevou helped coordinate ordering and compliance activities for KYB’s large national accounts. Originally from France, Hounguevou earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of Jean-Moulin.

Nick Tufo is a new territory sales manager from the New Jersey area. Tufo will cover portions of the Northeastern U.S., servicing key KYB channel partners. An industry veteran prior to KYB, Tufo held leading roles within the tire industry at both Gallagher Tire and Hankook. He also is an experienced technician, servicing both vehicles and motorcycles throughout his career. A graduate of the Automotive Training Center in Exton, Pennsylvania, Tufo will play a key role in delivering training and marketing programs to KYB’s customer partners and automotive service providers in his area.

“We are excited to announce a new key hire and Pascal’s well-deserved promotion,” said KYB Vice President Mike Fiorito. “We are exceptionally pleased to reward hard work internally and hire a vital member to our team. Pascal has been a key team member since 2012 with his role increasing every year. It was an easy decision to reward Pascal with increased responsibility that will improve the KYB Team moving forward. Nick will be a tremendous asset to us as well. His career in the industry will enable him to hit the ground running with several important KYB customer partners. We are excited to have Nick on board.”
