DENSO Announces Live Technical Service Training Simulcast

AVI OnDemand will live-stream DENSO’s course on how to diagnose and understand Duramax Fuel System problems at 4 p.m. EST on Sept. 8.

DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc., an affiliate company of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has announced its first live online technical training seminar in partnership with Automotive Video Innovations LLC (AVI). AVI OnDemand will live-stream DENSO’s course on how to diagnose and understand Duramax Fuel System problems at 4 p.m. EST on Sept. 8.

Denso - LogoDENSO announced its upcoming simulcast at the 2016 Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS) International Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas. The Aug. 2-5 event showcases the latest technology, equipment, training programs and service information in the diesel industry.

“We’re excited to partner with AVI to live-stream DENSO’s Duramax training seminar and broaden our reach to the widest possible audience of professional automotive technicians seeking to sharpen their skills,” said Wayne Eiffes, senior manager, service planning, DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc. “Because ADS values and promotes professional training, the international convention and trade show is the perfect setting to announce this upcoming opportunity.”

The 90-minute seminar focuses on what technicians need to know to pinpoint and solve Duramax Fuel System problems using diagnostics instead of invasive procedures. The training covers the LB7 engine and later LLY, LBZ and LLM models. Featured instructor Wally Mouradian, a master technician for more than 30 years, will draw on real-world case studies to teach the seminar. The companies say the live-streaming format makes it easy for technicians to ask questions and get answers during the training.

Specific topics include high and low pressure, diesel fuel testing, pressure control testing, injector diagnostics, supply-side testing, high-side pressure testing, checking for suction leaks, high-pressure fuel faults, fuel rate testing and setup. The seminar is designed for technicians with a strong knowledge base in systems operations and theory.

Registration is available at aviondemand.com/denso. The cost of the seminar is $100.

All DENSO technical training seminars are taught by ASE Master certified technicians and include tips on how to increase efficiency and profits by identifying the right repair the first time.
