Tim Myers Re-Elected As HDMA Board Chairman For 2016

Myers has served on the HDMA board since 2005 and has been a member of its executive committee since 2009. He plays an active role in the HDMA board's strategic planning group and also has been a strong participant in the association’s other affairs.

HDMA - LogoThe Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the heavy-duty division of MEMA, held its annual election of officers and governors during its fall board of governors meeting, held recently in Dearborn, Michigan. The HDMA board is responsible for the strategic direction, performance and member satisfaction of the 210-plus member association. HDMA’s strategic mission is to advance the commercial vehicle supplier industry and the business interests of its members.

Tim Myers, president of Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, has been re-elected as chairman of the HDMA board of directors for 2016. He has served on the HDMA board since 2005 and has been a member of its executive committee since 2009. He plays an active role in the HDMA board’s strategic planning group and also has been a strong participant in other association activities.

In addition, Jeffrey “Jay” Craig, CEO and president of Meritor Inc., was elected for a three-year term as an HDMA board director. Previously, Craig served as Meritor’s president and chief operating officer; senior vice president and president, Commercial Truck & Industrial segment; and chief financial officer. He joined the company in 2006. Prior to Meritor, Craig was president and CEO of General Motors Acceptance Corp.’s (GMAC) commercial finance organization and president and CEO of GMAC’s business credit division. He joined GMAC as a general auditor in 1997 from Deloitte & Touche, where he was an audit partner. Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
