Longtime Industry Marketing Executive Launches New Business

The StaufMan Marketing Group, established by Jeff Stauffer, will offer a wide range of marketing consulting services.        

SMG - LogoJeff Stauffer is no stranger to the automotive parts business. With more than 39 years of automotive marketing experience and counting, he has decided to open a new automotive marketing services and consulting business.

“I have been blessed to work for some of the industry’s leading manufacturers and iconic brands including Monroe, Walker, Moog, Wagner, PEAK, WIX and Raybestos, and have enjoyed great success developing and driving marketing strategy and market share growth through integrated sales and brand activation,” said Stauffer.

SMG - Jeff StaufferAfter graduating from Northwood University, Stauffer began his career with Tenneco Automotive and went on to various marketing and leadership roles at Moog/Cooper Automotive, Old World Industries, Affinia Group and Brake Parts Inc. He has been honored with many awards and achievements including Young Executive of the Year, Ad Age Young Leadership Award, Northwood’s Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award, and many Automotive Communications Awards from the Car Care Council Women’s Board.

He has been an active participant in the industry as a member and former president of both the Automotive Communications Council and Automotive Sales Council, a member of the Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Advisory Board, the Northwood University Board of Governors, the Auto Care Association Marketing & Membership Committee and has maintained involvement with AASA/MEMA as a conference speaker and participant.

The StaufMan Marketing Group (SMG) will offer a wide range of marketing consulting services. “I have assembled a team of extremely talented pros who are experts in their chosen marketing fields and will bring a strong level of expertise and capabilities to service any client’s needs for marketing support.”

SMG’s capabilities will include brand and marketing strategy, planning and activation support; new product and brand development; advertising and sales promotion concepts; public relations and events management; digital and social media strategy, content and website development and activation; market research and data management services; and sports marketing, sponsorship assessment and activation.

Stauffer went on to say, “I, along with my team, will provide my clients with a unique combination of very high quality ‘hands-on’ experience along with global leadership skill sets. In addition, we understand the different dynamics surrounding the ‘consumer’ target audiences from both the B2B and B2C perspectives.
