ATMC annually bestows its National Excellence in Training Award to three industry firms based upon those firms’ submissions to the council for peer review. The awards are designed to highlight the availability of very effective or innovative training and its importance to the success of the transportation industry. “The judging was extremely close, with all entries separated by no more than 16 points in the judges’ mean averages,” said Dave Milne, ATMC president. “Each of the submissions was remarkable in some way.”

The 2015 award recipients will be honored at the Automotive Training Managers Council reception held during the AAPEX and SEMA shows in Las Vegas. The reception will be from 5-6:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Venetian Hotel/Sands Expo Center in the Casanova Rooms 604-605 (ground floor). Industry sponsors for the event include Gates Corp., ASE and the Auto Care Association. All with an interest in training are invited to attend.
