CVSN, HDDA and HDMA, the organizers of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) have announced the addition of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Canada (HDAC) to the HDAW Joint Operating Committee.
HDAC is a non-profit organization that promotes, educates and advocates on behalf of the heavy-duty aftermarket industry in Canada. Formerly known as the Heavy Duty Distributor Council, the association was created in 1984 to represent the interests of Canadian independent, heavy-duty distributors, but its mandate has since expanded. HDAC now represents both distributor and associate members of the industry, and works to promote their best interests through government relations, professional development and industry networking, market research, member services and charity.
“Heavy Duty Aftermarket Canada is very excited to be the newest sponsor of HDAW in Las Vegas. As a sponsor of HDAW, HDAC will be showcasing our brand at the premier heavy-duty event in North America,” explained Ian Johnston, president of HDAC. “Not only will this provide us with a great marketing platform, we will be able to participate in the Joint Operating Committee and work with all the great associations and groups that make up Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week. We are truly excited to be joining with such a great event.”
The 11th annual HDAW is scheduled for Jan. 25-28, 2016, at The Mirage in Las Vegas. Visit www.hdaw.org for program, registration and exhibit space reservation information.
