MOTOSHOP Technology Tools To Award A $10,000 Technology Makeover To One Shop

This is MOTOSHOP’s second shop technology contest. In 2014, Dave’s Pro Auto in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, received the grand prize technology makeover after entering the contest.

Motoshop ContestMOTOSHOP Technology Tools, a product portfolio from Advance Auto Parts, has launched a contest for commercial garages and repair shops that will award one grand prize winner up to $10,000 in new technology equipment and services to provide a shop technology makeover. Shops interested in entering the contest can submit their entry now through July 31. Submissions should be a written response in 300 words or less detailing how you see technology improving your business and why your shop could benefit from a technology makeover.

“We want to help shops adapt to the rapid changes in technology that are influencing the aftermarket,” said Walter Scott, senior vice president, chief marketing officer for Advance Auto Parts. “We’re excited to launch this second MOTOSHOP contest as we continue to find ways to help shops serve their customers more effectively.”

One grand prize winner will receive up to $10,000 in new shop technology such as computers, tablets, printers, network hardware, online services and showroom TVs. Exact prize components will be determined following an assessment by the contest sponsor of the winner’s existing shop technology. The grand prize winner also will receive a year’s subscription to the technology services provided by MOTOSHOP, including MotoSHOP Shop Management System, MotoREV Shop Marketing, MotoLOGIC Repair & Diagnostics and MotoSKILL Shop Tech Training.
