Centric Parts Names Three Management Hires

The new Centric staff members are Srinivas (Sri) Adusumilli as the vice president of information technology, Alan Leukhardt as the engineering manager and Mohit (Moe) Uppal as the vice president of global supply chain management.

INDUSTRY, Calif. – Centric Parts, has announced today the appointment of three new members to its management staff. According to Centric, this move will help the company keep pace with its steady growth in both the scale and scope of its North American operations.

The new staff members are Srinivas (Sri) Adusumilli as the vice president of information technology, Alan Leukhardt as the engineering manager and Mohit (Moe) Uppal as the vice president of global supply chain management.

Dan Lelchuk, president and CEO, Centric, said, “The addition of these key new team members adds even more strength to our management team. Alan, Sri and Moe bring with them considerable expertise in certain key areas, supporting Centric’s push to stay ahead of the competition.”

Adusumilli arrives with more than 20 years of information technology leadership. His experience includes head of information technology at Hino Motors USA and global information technology leader at Dana Corporation. He has also published books and articles covering various aspects of information technology strategy. Adusumilli holds a master’s in Computer Science. Adusumilli assumes responsibility for the many ongoing information technology projects, as well as spearheading efforts related to quality assurance, MRP and ERP solutions appropriate for the growing business.

With more than 25 years of engineering and quality management experience, Leukhardt will be assuming immediate responsibility for managing projects within the engineering department, as well as working on developing new opportunities and technologies, and expanding and strengthening Centric’s capabilities in both brake and chassis. His previous experience includes management of the engineering operations at Saleen.

Mohit (Moe) Uppal
Mohit (Moe) Uppal

Uppal comes to Centric with more than 15 years of experience in new product launch management, encompassing global procurement, vendor/purchasing/inventory management and lean manufacturing strategies. Uppal has a Master of Business Administration, as well as a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. His experience includes engineering positions with American Axle & Manufacturing and various leadership positions with Dana Corp. Uppal assumes responsibility for corporate-wide procurement strategies, focusing on forecasting, processes, technology, analysis, supplier scorecards, optimizing working capital as it relates to inventory and acquisition integration.
