CARSTAR Appoints New Chief Information Officer

Position will strengthen and enhance systems supporting CARSTAR's growing franchise network, the company says.

LEAWOOD, Kan. – CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has named Travis Sill as its new chief information officer. In his new role, Sill will be responsible for providing strategic direction for CARSTAR’s technology initiatives, specifically focusing on enhancing the systems currently supporting the CARSTAR franchise network. In addition, he will be responsible for IT vendor management, systems communications and corporate and system data management.
 
Sill is an IT professional with diverse technology experience supporting large franchise networks. Prior to joining CARSTAR, he was director of technology for H&R Block in Kansas City, where he worked since 2005. His primary responsibilities included creating, developing and delivering new technology platforms supporting more than 12,000 retail tax offices. Sill also has consulting experience providing technology solutions to improve operations within the telecommunications, insurance, financial services and healthcare industries.
 
He holds a bachelor of science degree in management from Baker University.
