Bob McKenna Joins Schwartz Advisors

Leading automotive aftermarket M&A advisory and consulting firm adds experienced industry executive to its roster.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Schwartz Advisors LLC, a mergers and acquisitions advisory and management consulting firm focused on the automotive aftermarket, has announced that Bob McKenna has joined the company as a partner.

McKenna is veteran of the automotive aftermarket, having started his career at Genuine Parts Co. and NAPA as a management trainee. He quickly rose through the ranks, and eventually became president of GPC’s U.S. automotive parts group, a member of the NAPA board of directors and chairman of the NAPA executive committee. In 2004, McKenna became president and CEO of MEMA, a post he held until January of this year.

“I’m thrilled to announce that Bob has joined the Schwartz Advisors team,” said Rick Schwartz, Schwartz Advisors managing partner. “Our firm is rapidly expanding and now with Bob on board, it will enable us to better serve our clients. Bob is a leader who brings a wealth of automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket experience to Schwartz Advisors, and his work with suppliers to the OE community adds a new dimension to how we can provide value to clients.”

“I am excited to be associated with Schwartz Advisors and the high level of value they bring to their clients,” said McKenna. “The S.A. team has a comprehensive platform to support clients, and they are a fine group of professionals.”
