Brembo Receives Fiat Sustainability Supplier Of The Year Award

Brembo earned this important recognition following an audit conducted by a third party agency named by Fiat-Chrysler. The company demonstrated significant commitment in terms of sustainability issues, having adopted a code of ethics that is also followed by its suppliers, and a specific code on basic working conditions that extends to all the companies in the group, as well as creating a structure focused on defining company strategies relative to sustainability issues and the subsequent translation into actions and projects.

STEZZANO, Italy – Brembo has been recognized as the first recipient of the Fiat-Chrysler Sustainability Supplier of the Year Award.
 
In 2009, the car company from Turin launched specific certification procedures for its supply chain in the EMEA area, further expanding and consolidating sustainability efforts. Thanks to the integration of Fiat and Chrysler, the Group can count on the strong points and best practices of the various branches around the world, promoting progressively more sustainable mobility and protection of the environment and natural resources through low environmental impact production processes.

Cristina Bombassei, Brembo administrative director and CSR officer, received the award from Sergio Marchionne, Fiat-Chrysler CEO; and Alfredo Altavilla, Fiat-Chrysler chief operating officer, Europe, Africa and Middle East, during an official ceremony held in Italy.
