Mac Tools Names Redline Detection First U.S. Supplier To Develop And Export Products For Mac Tools Japan

Redline's Smoke Pro Total Tech has already started shipping to Japan.

PLACENTIA, Calif. – Redline Detection, a provider of OEM-approved automotive diagnostic leak detection equipment and developer of the leading diagnostic leak detector, the Smoke Pro, has been selected to supply its OEM-approved Smoke Pro Total Tech to Mac Tools Japan. Redline Detection is the only Stanley Black & Decker global supplier to manufacture specifically for the Japanese market and export to Mac Tools Japan.

“It is a great honor to be selected by Mac Japan to be its first Mac U.S. supplier,” said Zack Parker, president and CEO of Redline Detection. “Japanese automakers place a keen importance on contaminant-free products, and Redline’s diagnostic leak detectors use OEM-approved smoke-producing fluid that is free of dyes and other contaminants.”

Many Japanese OEMs prohibit or recommend against the use of UV dye in leak detection diagnostics as it can coat sensors and may void manufacturer warranties. In addition to being contaminant free, Redline says its Smoke Pro Total Tech provides many benefits, including:

* Drastically reducing diagnostic time;
* Identifying additional repairs on every vehicle; and,
* Helping technicians find leaks quickly and easily.

“Mac Tools and Redline Detection have enjoyed a strong partnership throughout the past five years,” said Paul Zarlengo, global product manager for Mac Tools. “We are pleased to extend this relationship in order to provide Japan with the highest quality, contaminant-free diagnostic leak detection equipment available.”
