Independent Auto Repair Shops Are In The Giving Spirit

Repair shops participating in the ExtremeWrench.com rewards program have been donating their points to charity this holiday season.

MINDEN, Nev. – Independent repair shops participating in the ExtremeWrench.com rewards program have been donating their points to charities this holiday season. Six repair shops have donated so far, to charities ranging from their local Boys and Girls Club, to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy relief effort and the American Cancer Society.

These shops have been thanked on Twitter and Facebook for their generosity, earning them some recognition this winter as part of an ongoing series of tweets and status updates touting the big hearts of these ExtremeWrench rewards participants.

ExtremeWrench added that none of this would be possible without the generosity of its partners: DENSO, NTK, NGK, Timken, MAHLE, Suplex, MANN Filter, Nissens, Akebono, ContiTech, Victor Reinz, Wahler, MicronAir, Hepu, Jurid, Pentosin, Rein, Optimal, LIQUI MOLY, LUK, Suplex and Fremax.

ExtremeWrench Media Director William Hinds said, "The generosity of our sponsors and rewards participants truly is something that warms your heart in the winter; there is a lot of cheer in this bunch."

ExtremeWrench is one of the largest Internet directories of independent auto repair shops. All of the services provided to the consumer and the repair shop owner are completely free. Follow the company on Twitter @extremewrench and on facebook.com/xwrench.
