Fast Track Growth for Fras-le in Europe

Fras-le has officially introduced two new brake products for commercial vehicles at Automechanika Frankfurt. Already introduced in Fras-le's home market of Brazil, the products are brand-new to the European market.

FRANKFURT, Germany – Fras-le has officially introduced two new brake products for commercial vehicles while here at Automechanika Frankfurt. Already introduced in Fras-le’s home market of Brazil, the products are brand new to the market here in Europe.

Two new products were unveiled: product No. 1931 is Fras-le’s new HD Pro premium disc brake pad developed for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles in stop-and-go applications; product No. 1749 is the brand’s standard offering of disc brake pads for heavy-duty vehicles.

According to Anderlize Cavalli, who handles marketing for Fras-le, with the introduction of the new premium disc brake pad, the standard pad was given an upgrade as well, so the quality of both offerings has been elevated.

The disc brake pad is a key component in the European market, and with the strength of its product portfolio, Fras-le believes it’s positioned for strong growth in this category in the region – particularly in Germany. The company plans to focus solely on the commercial vehicle market in Europe. Fras-le’s stand at the 2012 Automechanika Frankfurt is included in the event’s new "Truck Competence" section as well.

"We believe we have a shot here in Europe to be among the competition that are in the one, two and three top spots," said Leandro Girardi, director of operations for Europe.

Giradi noted that Fras-le is present in 34 countries in Europe today, with more than 70 customers here. In all, the Fras-le’s product portfolio boasts 10,000 part numbers, and the company exports to 84 countries.

"It’s becoming more and more global every day," Girardi said.
