Auto International Association Accepting Nominations for 2012 AIA People Awards

The nomination deadline has been extended to this Friday, July 20.

BETHESDA, Md. – The Auto International Association (AIA), a segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), is now accepting nominations for the 2012 AIA People Awards.
 
The AIA People Awards, which honor the excellence of individuals in the import automotive aftermarket, include the Hall of Fame Award, the AIA Person of the Year Award, the AIA Lifetime Industry Achievement Award and the Young Executive of the Year Award.
 
The 2011 award recipients were:
 
* Hall of Fame Award – Lee Kadrich, AAP
* AIA Person of the Year Award – Dan Lelchuk, Centric Parts
* AIA Lifetime Industry Achievement Award – Dick Berreman, Berreman & Co. and Chris von Lenski, CRP Industries Inc.
* Young Executive of the Year Award – Brian Griffin III, Interamerican Motor Corp.
 
The awards will be presented at the AIA Luncheon and Awards Program on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.
