WORLDPAC Opens New Warehouse In Sugar Land, Texas, Area

NEWARK, Calif. – WORLDPAC has opened a new regional distribution center in Houston, Texas. The facility offers expanded service and delivery options to independent automotive repair professionals in the Sugar Land, Pearland and Houston areas. It is the ninth WORLDPAC location in Texas.

Headquartered in Newark, Calif., the company provides brand-recognized automotive parts directly to independent import and domestic service centers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, and also offers customer services such as such as technical and business training, as well as targeted customer marketing solutions.

TBC Corporation Appoints New President and CEO

Don Byrd, currently TBC’s chief strategy and marketing officer, assumes his new role effective May 1.

TBC Corporation (TBC) announced the appointment of the company’s new president and chief executive officer, Don Byrd. Byrd, who currently serves as TBC’s chief strategy and marketing officer, will replace Sam Kato, effective May 1.

Kato, who was appointed to position TBC for growth and evolution, will return to Sumitomo, one of TBC’s shareholders.
