Visual SKUs Announces Addition of Ian McNabb as Senior Software Architect

McNabb has worked in the computer software industry for 22 years with Interleaf, APG Systems Integration, Monenco-Agra, Macsys and Pricedex. For the past six years, his focus has been on building technology solutions for manufacturers in the automotive aftermarket.

TORONTO – Visual SKUs, a provider of product imaging and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions for the automotive aftermarket, today announced that software industry veteran Ian McNabb has joined the company as a senior software architect.

McNabb has worked in the computer software industry for 22 years with Interleaf, APG Systems Integration, Monenco-Agra, Macsys and Pricedex. For the past six years, his focus has been on building technology solutions for manufacturers in the automotive aftermarket.

McNabb is a renowned expert in architecture and design for catalog and product information management systems, as well as document management and automated publishing solutions, according to Visual SKUs.

In 2009, Visual SKUs launched a flexible suite of high-quality product imaging solutions to address the needs of manufacturers, distributors and retailers in the automotive aftermarket. Since then, Visual SKUs has concentrated on providing DAM solutions for managing and distributing large quantities of digital assets formatted to meet both industry standards and unique trading partner requirements. McNabb has been brought on board to lead the development of additional Visual SKUs’ solutions.

For the past four years, McNabb has been a member of the AAIA’s Technology Standards and Solutions Committee. During this time, he has participated heavily in projects relating to the PIES product data standard, imaging best practices and digital asset management.
