Now in its 22nd year, Leadership 2.0 aims to develop future aftermarket industry leaders through a unique post-graduate style, collaborative education program.

Northwood - University of the Aftermarket - LogoThe next generation of motor vehicle aftermarket leaders will gather at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, in late August for the start of the University of the Aftermarket’s Leadership 2.0 class. Now in its 22nd year, Leadership 2.0 aims to develop future aftermarket industry leaders through a unique post-graduate style, collaborative education program.

Registration is now open for the next annual class. The first session begins Aug. 21-26, while the second session meets March 5-10, 2017. Participants must attend both sessions.

The two-week curriculum features lectures, roundtable discussions, networking sessions, guest speakers, team research and problem-solving activities focused on the motor vehicle aftermarket. Participants also collaborate on projects that tackle some of the most pressing issues facing the motor vehicle aftermarket today and in the future. Featured presenters include leading aftermarket executives and faculty members of the Northwood University DeVos Graduate School of Management.

The program is designed for early- to mid-career, high-potential aftermarket professionals in all market segments. Participants include a diverse mix of aftermarket professionals from manufacturing, retail/wholesale distribution, program groups, warehouses, service dealers, associations and other industry segments allied to the motor vehicle aftermarket. This class diversity is unique in the industry and adds to the educational experience.

The cost of the two-week program is $6,250, including tuition, class materials and meals. Class size is limited to 40 and those interested are encouraged to register early as the class sells out every year.

Participants receive 7.0 CEUs toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.
