Tim Trudnowski Receives Highest Federated Member Honor

Named for the late founder of Federated Auto Parts Distributors, the Art Fisher Memorial Award recognizes those members who carry on Art Fisher’s legacy through their outstanding dedication to the membership, the group and the industry.

The Art Fisher Memorial Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a Federated Auto Parts member, was presented to Tim Trudnowski, president of Parts Wholesalers Inc., during the recent Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) meeting.

Named for the late founder of Federated Auto Parts Distributors, the Art Fisher Memorial Award recognizes those members who carry on Art Fisher’s legacy through their outstanding dedication to the membership, the group and the industry. In short, it recognizes the long-term commitment that individual members demonstrate through their support, involvement, counsel and loyalty.

“We are blessed to have Tim Trudnowski as a member of Federated and can’t think of anyone more deserving of this great recognition,” said Bo Fisher, chairman of Federated Auto Parts. “Parts Wholesalers Inc. was one of the first companies to join Federated over 30 years ago and we are thankful for their long-time support. I especially want to thank Tim for his service, not only to Federated, but to the entire auto care industry. Tim has always put the Federated membership first and his knowledge and expertise have benefitted all of our members.”

An active industry participant and treasurer of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA), Trudnowski serves as president of Spokane-based Parts Wholesalers Inc. The company started its longtime affiliation with Federated Auto Parts in 1985 and the following year purchased its first stand-alone company store, the original Motion Auto Supply, in the Spokane Valley. Today, Parts Wholesalers Inc. is a 100-percent employee-owned company consisting of eight store locations that operate as Automotive Jobbers Supply and Motion Auto Supply. They also supply parts to more than 50 independently owned jobber stores in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana.
