Just in time for the holidays, premium synthetic lubricant and performance chemical manufacturer, Royal Purple, gave away a check for $10,000 for home furnishings on Saturday, Dec. 19 during the second quarter of the sold out 2015 Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl (RPLVB), where Brigham Young University took on rival school, the University of Utah.
In its third year as title sponsor of the Las Vegas Bowl, Royal Purple selected Nellis Airforce Staff Sergeant Jason King as the recipient to fully furnish his home.
“We are excited to share this gift with Jason. It is the season of giving and we want our fans to know how much we value their support and continued loyalty,” said Debby Neubauer, Royal Purple’s vice president of marketing. “As a brand built on high-performance, we want Jason to be fully equipped to continue to be his own outperformer.”
Royal Purple, also a supporter of the U.S. Armed Forces, continued its day of gift-giving by donating 450 game day tickets to the Nellis Air Force as a small token of appreciation for their service in the U.S.
In 2014, Royal Purple collaborated with the Military Warriors Support Foundation, an organization that provides housing support, family and financial mentoring to combat wounded veterans and their families, to give away a mortgage-free home to Army veteran, Tim Lipscomb of Fernley, Nevada. Royal Purple presented Lipscomb with a $10,000 check to furnish his new home.
