EMERYVILLE, Calif. RepairPal, an online destination for auto repair and maintenance information, and U.S. News Automotive, an online resource owned by the U.S. News Media Group that provides consumers with automotive rankings and reviews, have announced a content distribution partnership. RepairPal’s proprietary RepairPrice Estimates and repair-specific recommendations will be available on a separate "Repair" tab for each vehicle reviewed on the US News Automotive website.
The collaboration enables U.S. News Automotive users to access RepairPal’s repair and maintenance information for every car make, model and year. In addition, users are presented with RepairPal’s targeted listings of local repair shops and dealers that can perform the requested repairs or services.
As an example, you can find the car repair information on any of the U.S. News car information pages, such as this page for the Toyota 4Runner:
“The U.S. News Car Rankings carry respect and credibility with consumers everywhere, with its extensive research and analysis about hundreds of cars and trucks. We are delighted to provide our unbiased, high-quality RepairPal data to enhance the U.S. News user experience,” said David Sturtz, CEO, RepairPal.
“The RepairPal data adds a critical component to our website. We strive to provide comprehensive, useful and trusted advice to help car shoppers and owners make the most of their money. RepairPal’s service is a great fit with that goal,” said Chad Smolinski, VP of Rankings and Reviews at US News.
In addition to the U.S. News Automotive site, RepairPal delivers its content through its own website at RepairPal.com, through several other leading sites including Cars.com and AOL Autos, and via its suite of award-winning mobile applications.
