Ed Dorian Sr., Dorian Drake‘s founder and former chairman, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, following a long battle with cancer. He was 92.

The creation of Dorian International, and the subsequent purchase of Drake America, were major milestones in Ed Sr.’s long and richly varied business career, which the company chronicled in a blog post published last year, found here.

The company says Dorian Sr. was very proud of the company he founded, and it meant a lot to him to know that the team running the company today has continued to carry on his legacy. Dorian Drake also added that his life also was greatly enriched by the many people he came to know from the various industries the company serves.

APA Welcomes BS Products as New TruStar Member

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) announced it welcomed BS Products as a new member to TruStar.

Founded in 2019 by friends and business partners Brett Peterson and Sean Malmstrom, BS Products is a full-line nationwide wholesaler of automotive and quick lube supplies. It specializes in filters, additives, tools, shop supplies, and safety and janitorial equipment, according to APA.
