NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc. has announced the promotion of Mark Sprague to general manager of marketing, Veronica Barkley to aftermarket process improvement supervisor and new hire James Mangrum to non-automotive Eastern zone manager.
Sprague, previously corporate marketing manager, has been promoted to the role of general manager of marketing. In this role, he will focus on marketing the aftermarket division. Sprague has been with NGK for 12 years and reports to Michael Schwab, senior vice president.
Barkley, previously the aftermarket coordinator, has been promoted to aftermarket process improvement supervisor. She will have responsibility for process improvement for the aftermarket division, as well as supervision of administrative functionality. Barkley has been with NGK for nine years and also reports to Schwab.
Mangrum, a new hire, has joined the aftermarket sales team as non-automotive Eastern zone manager. Mangrum has more than 40 years of experience in the auto industry working for companies such as Federal-Mogul, NAPA, AIM Alternators and Starters and Beck/Arnley. His experience ranges from finance to operations, product management and sales. Mangrum will report to James Paugh, national sales manager – Non-Automotive.
In North America, NGK is headquartered in Wixom, Michigan, and maintains manufacturing, inventory and distribution facilities in Irvine, California; Sissonville, West Virginia; and Chicago.
