National Auto Stores Selects Green Team Technologies Fuse5 Product To Run 18-Location Business

After more than 20 years on an in-house solution, NAS made the decision to transition to the cloud-ERP Fuse5.

National Auto Stores - LogoNational Auto Stores (NAS), a family owned and operated business serving eastern Pennsylvania since 1969, stocks extensive replacement parts inventories, chemicals and accessories for cars and trucks. After more than 20 years on an in-house solution, NAS made the decision to transition to the cloud-ERP Fuse5.

“With 18 distribution locations throughout Pennsylvania we decided that we needed an ERP platform that would leverage leading-edge technology both today and in the future while providing all of the modules and best practices required by a modern, forward thinking company,” said David Stein, president of National Auto Stores.

The NAS distribution model relies on a large WD location, which historically ran on a sophisticated in-house custom warehouse management solution.

“A strong warehouse management system module cleanly integrated with all the various aspects of running an efficient business was a high priority to us. Simply said, we wanted every aspect of our company to be completely in sync. The choice of IT partner was also an important part of that decision making process and after evaluating the companies that specialize in providing business systems to the automotive aftermarket Green Team Technologies (GTT), with its Fuse5 product, came out clear winners,” said Stein.

GTT is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company offering a robust, highly customized cloud-based business software suite for businesses in the automotive aftermarket, regardless of their size, complexity or position within the supply chain. GTT’s focus on multi-tiered businesses (hub-and-spoke) that includes warehouse distribution as well as jobber locations has led six national WD chains to switch to Fuse5 in the past 12-months.

“Adding a prestigious company such as [National Auto Stores] to our growing family of partners is obviously exciting to us and offers another example of a potential customer type Fuse5 was designed for in the Automotive Aftermarket,” said Gabe Davis, CEO and founder of Green Team Technologies. “Having the chance to spend some time with David [Stein] this week at the Pronto spring conference, and hearing how pleased they are with our product and support service is what excites me most about what GTT is doing in this industry. Knowing how we continue to work with our partners, adding immediate value to their businesses while simultaneously benefiting from their experience and suggestions for improvements to our Fuse5 product is what we are all about.”

Company President Brian Allibon added, “Seeing the success of a project like this and the impressive manner and efficient timeframe in which it has been deployed is so rewarding. The team here at GTT is growing fast to meet the constant demand for our products and services. We are not just focused on maintaining those high standards as we add new partners but shall always strive to improve on our processes and service delivery.”

The Fuse5 product was conceived and engineered to be a true cloud solution from its conception seven years ago and is designed not only specifically for the automotive aftermarket but is capable of providing the advantages of cloud technology throughout the entire supply chain today, according to GTT.
