Michael Jacabacci Retires After Distinguished 50-Year Aftermarket Career

Jacabacci joined Woodbury Automotive Warehouse in 1973, advancing through a variety of positions including delivery driver, machine shop operator, counterman, warehouse manager, operations manager, sales manager and vice president before assuming the role of president and CEO. For the past three years, Jacabacci has served in a sales management position for Parts Authority after selling Woodbury Automotive Warehouse in 2013.

“I have spent 50 years in the automotive industry and they have been the best years of my life,” said Jacabacci. “I started at Barn’s Auto Parts in the Bronx in 1966 at the age of 16 and have been fortunate to spend the next five decades in an industry that has brought me a lot of happiness and rewards. I am grateful for all the wonderful people I have met along the way and will cherish this journey for the rest of my life.”

For the past three years, Jacabacci has served in a sales management position for Parts Authority after selling Woodbury Automotive Warehouse in 2013.

“Since the sale, I have reflected on the team I had the pleasure of working with at Woodbury. I wish them and everyone at Parts Authority the best of luck for growth and success for many years to come. I know I am leaving all of you in good hands,” continued Jacabacci.

During his tenure at Woodbury, Jacabacci was an active Federated member, serving on the Federated Board of Governors and several member committees. In 2008, he received the most prestigious Federated member recognition, the Art Fisher Memorial Award.
