PLYMOUTH, Mich. Dr. Marc Rosenmayr has been appointed CEO for HELLA Electronics in North and South America, and Steve Lietaert has been named president of the HELLA Corporate Center USA Inc.
Rosenmayr previously was vice president of program management for the electronics group in the Americas, while Lietaert had been vice president of sales and marketing at HELLA’s corporate center in Plymouth.
Based in Plymouth, Rosenmayr is responsible for the company’s electronics business operations in the Americas, including business strategy, program management and product development. He joined HELLA’s electronics group in Lippstadt, Germany, in 2000, and progressed through a series of senior management positions in Germany and the U.S. in energy management and body electronics.
Lietaert is responsible for HELLA’s corporate business operations in the United States, including sales and marketing, finance, human resources and purchasing. In addition, he has responsibility for the company’s automotive sales and marketing activities in North America and leads engineering and program management activities for HELLA’s lighting group in the United States.
Since joining HELLA in 2000, Lietaert has held a number of leadership positions, including vice president of program management, product line director and engineering director. He previously had held positions in both sales and engineering at Faurecia, Lear Corp. and Yazaki North America.
A native of Zurich, Switzerland, Rosenmayr holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in engineering, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Lietaert is a native of Lambertville, Mich., and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University.
